Naperville North left in the dark

By Online Editor Alex Moss

Naperville North students were dismissed early on Tuesday, September 27th, due to a complete building power outage caused by a transformer explosion, according to a message sent out to parents by Principal Kevin Pobst.

Students were allowed to leave approximately an hour and fifteen minutes after the power was lost in the building.  The reaction of the students was one of excitement after the announcement was made to close the school for the remainder of the day.

“I thought it might happen.  The moment the lights went I was thinking that this could be it,” said senior Dominic Imbergia.

No word on the status of the power tonight, but it is assumed that tomorrow school will take place as usual.
