Community members gathered in the Seven Bridges Park on the evening of May 4th to dedicate a tree, which was planted in memory of deceased NNHS freshmen Michael Gustafson.
The tree was made possible by donations mainly from the Seven Bridges community, the NNHS golf team, and Michael’s family members.
According to Kathy Hubbard, who was part of the committee that organized the donation, about $2,000 was raised. She said that her and the others who helped organize the projects believed a tree would be a fitting symbol for Michael.
