While some may have attended local gatherings with friends for a Halloween party in plain ole’ Naperville, others attended a Halloween themed, 17 years old and up, concert that continued into all hours of the night.
The atmosphere was great in the concert and you could tell that everyone came just to have a great night.
One of the best parts was seeing everybody in costume. It was so fun just going up to random people and guessing their costume or just giving them kudos for creating such a cool outfit. Some people wore the coolest costumes, for example, this one guy had a box on his head but it lit up and created eyes and a mouth so he looked like a robot that was ready to rock.
The excitement and happiness in the room mixed with the electronic music delivered by artists Laidback Luke, Wolfgang Gartner and MSTRKRFT, created the best party environment. The lights made everyone’s shirts glow and they lit up the ceiling like a thousand fireflies of different colors. It truly was a spectacular sight.
As the night progressed, confetti came shooting out and filled the air. This made the crowd go wild and gave us the energy to continue to dance all night.
I think that night was amazing and I would have recommended anyone that is 17 or older to go to it. The music, the friends, the laughs, the good times, the dancing, the lights and the atmosphere all combined to make it an unforgettable Halloween.
It was a great warm up for the real Halloween on Monday where we got to act like kids for one more year as seniors. It was relaxed but nice to get some candy from fellow Naperville dwellers.
Overall, Halloween weekend was a blast and it will be etched into my memories as one of my top Halloweens.
