NNHS junior earns a perfect score on the PSAT, SAT and ACT
Naperville North junior Ryan Robbins has achieved the trifecta of perfect scores on the SAT, ACT, and PSAT tests.
In preparation, Robbins used GradePower Learning services in the months leading up to the test, for a few hours every week. He earned his scores after taking the ACT and PSAT tests once and the SAT twice, but his astonishment remained the same every time he saw his scores.
“The first time, with the PSAT, I kept reloading [the website] because I wasn’t sure if that was my actual score,” Robbins said.
Robbins is looking to apply to colleges on the East Coast, including Brown University and New York University, and will be touring more this summer.
While Robbins recommends preparing for the exams, he reminds students to avoid the wrong mindset.
“[The tests] don’t determine your future…don’t take them too seriously,” Robbins said.
