Judy Pendergast is a senior at Naperville North and is also captain of girls’ cross country. On Oct. 16 at the DuPage Valley Conference meet, Pendergast ran a 16:05 3-mile-run. According to DyeStat, the internet home of high school track and cross country rankings, Pendergast’s time is the fastest in the nation this year. We caught up with Pendergast, along with her coach, Dan Iverson, to learn more about her accomplishments.
