Photoslider: Naperville North alum Barnett honored at NN vs Benet Academy volleyball game
On Apr 16, the Varsity Men’s Volleyball team had a match against Benet Academy. Before the game began, Principal Posey awarded NNHS alum Kevin Barnett with the Learners to Leaders award. Barnett, a member of the class of 1992, played volleyball for the US Men’s Olympic team in the 2000 and 2004 Olympics. Barnett was also an analyst for Men’s and Women’s indoor Volleyball in the 2008, 2012, and 2016 Olympics and currently broadcasts football, basketball, volleyball, and racing on multiple platforms. The varsity team would lose the match, dropping their first set 25-22 and the second set 25-23.
